Bobby Wales ready to finally write his own Kilmarnock story

The 19-year-old was the hero on Thursday night as his first goal for his boyhood club kept the tie with Tromsø alive.

From donning ‘McKenzie 7’ on the back of his Kilmarnock shirt as a young fan growing up to sharing the same pitch as Rory McKenzie when he scored his first senior goal for his boyhood club.

The Scotland Under-19s international used to sit in the stands at Rugby Park to cheer on his favourite players in blue and white stripes. On Thursday, he experienced the Ayrshire faithful chanting his name for the first time.
