Derek McInnes' team were excellent on Sunday versus Celtic - not that you'd know that from listening to some people.

Kilmarnock were excellent against Celtic on Sunday.

For anyone who watched the game of a Killie persuasion, you don’t need to be told that.

The same goes for those who are objective enough to recognise that without downplaying the levels that Derek McInnes’ players reached for around 80 minutes, before running out of steam.

But for all we know this, there seems to be a distinct lack of it from others in certain quarters - and it should be challenged.

The subject of the artificial pitch is raised every single time without fail - although, funnily enough, I don’t recall as many mentions of it after Celtic thumped Killie 5-0 to win the title only seven months ago.

I’m beyond bored of listening to folk bumping their gums about it, and it’s even more tedious when someone tries to include it in a conversation.
