Saturday’s tie against Dundee will give Kilmarnock a welcome respite from the Premiership, where a 15 game winless run is approaching record breaking territory.

New manager Neil McCann will hope a week of work on the training ground can bring an uplift in performance against his former side, with a tough run of league games to come.

With the next three fixtures seeing Killie take on Motherwell, Aberdeen and Rangers and unwanted record is hoving into view.

Failing to win any of those matches would see Kilmarnock match the club’s all-time record, set in 1980-81, when Davie Sneddon’s side failed to win in 18 league games.

Here’s what happened back then.
