Matty Kennedy calls on Killie team to stick together to eradicate defensive errors
The winger, 29, remains confident he and his teammates can turn over Tromsø in Norway on Thursday.
Matty Kennedy insists Kilmarnock needs to stick together as a team when defending in key moments of games.
Tromsø looked to have snatched a first-leg victory in their Europa Conference League qualifier on Thursday night after two goals in 14 minutes in the early to midway stages of the second half.
Defensive errors throughout the team saw the Norwegians gifted two soft goals from a Killie perspective, as Jakob Romsaas and Lasse Nordås produced similar finishes across Robby McCrorie into the bottom corner.
The Ayrshire side were on the ropes at points during the second half, with an agitated crowd voicing their displeasure at an apparent lack of urgency and energy at points.
Bobby Wales saved the day with his stoppage-time strike to secure a 2-2 draw. While recognising the areas where Killie needs to improve, Kennedy is confident he and his teammates can get an away victory in the Arctic Circle.
