Kieran O’Hara has deputised in his absence. The Republic of Ireland international impressed between the sticks on both occasions, particularly in the Parken Stadium, dealing with most of what FC Copenhagen had to offer in attack during the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off, which finished 2-0 to the hosts.
McCrorie has a minor hip injury that will keep him out for no longer than a fortnight.
So, with the new summer signing potentially on the sidelines until after the international break, usual back-up goalkeeper O’Hara is set for an extended run in the starting XI.
Asked about O’Hara’s performance at Fir Park last week, Derek McInnes said: “Kieran came in as there was a decision to be made given Robby felt something in training yesterday. We made the sensible decision not to put that at risk – he was on the bench today just as a precaution.
