On Sunday and Monday we brought you an exclusive two-part interview with captain Kyle Vassell.

Part two saw him focus on that incident with Shaun Rooney against St Mirren, but in part one the striker addressed something that has been a hot topic so far this season - the criticism he’s had from some sections of the fanbase.

The 31-year-old has found the back of the net just once this season, something he himself admits is not good enough in terms of a return.

Many have called for him to be dropped, while others maintain the work he does for the team is worth more than its weight in goals - there’s even a thread on the KillieFC forums titled ‘We Need to Talk About Kyle Vassell’.

So, let’s talk about Kyle Vassell.
