One of the most curious episodes in the recent history of Kilmarnock is the short-lived tenure of Angelo Alessio.

Tasked with replacing Steve Clarke after he left to take the Scotland job, Billy Bowie and the board turned to an Italian with coaching and playing experience at the very highest levels.

After just 22 games though he was gone, sacked with his side still in fifth place in the Premiership.

Today, Alessio exclusively speaks to the Killie Chronicle about his time at Rugby Park, what went wrong and the rumours of a dressing room revolt.
